The short

I've always been the planning type.

Some may call it obsessiveness. Some may call it a lack of spontaneity. I call it the savoring of a good thing. We all know how quickly travel flies by – you’re swept along by a rolling thunder of impressions, colors, people, languages, unexpected side streets, a different way of life… awestruck and wide eyed by a world outside of yours. I’ve always liked to extend that feeling and savor it ahead of time, digging deep into the secrets and unusual characteristics of a destination to ensure my impending days there would be well spent and genuine to that place.

I hope to bring these secrets to you, so that when your days of travel finally arrive you can stop and savor the feeling of fernweh you had (the longing for distant places) before commencing your journey.

Happy planning!
